Nervecentre – Modular Exhibition Stand

The Brief

Nervecentre briefed us to create a stand for EHI Live 2015 that would bring their exhibition presence up to the next level but also be reusable for other shows. In order to ensure the flexibility required, Nervecentre were looking for a modular stand with interchangeable graphics

Also, an important requirement for the stand was that it needed to incorporate innovate ways to demonstrate the Nervecentre software which runs on iPads and iPhones.

The Solution

In order to create a structure that displayed individual graphic panels, we used the Aluvision frame system. As each graphic panel was the same width, the stand could be setup in a different order for different shows without changing the structure.

A small server was used inside the cupboard to manage the display screens and allow any iPad to take over control of any of the main screens.

As part of our service, we presented 3D designs to the Nervecentre team to demonstrate how the stand would look when built. These then helped us to develop the graphic content to suit the stand.

We also added floating acrylic shelves matched to the Nervecentre green brand colour. These were lit with LEDs on the back edge to draw attention to the demonstration area. Aluvision Puck lights were then used along the top of the stand to flood the graphics with light.

Bespoke freestanding iPad displays with literature holders were designed to serve as a standalone demonstration area.

Nervecentre has commissioned us to develope this stand for their upcoming shows by increasing the height and using more innovate technology demonstrations.
