Emerald Works Trade Show Stand
Creating a show-stopping stand for a brand re-launch
This year, they wanted to go even bigger and bolder – the stand was designed to create a strong impact and clearly represent the new global company.
A bold, impressive stand that couldn’t be missed at the show, the perfect platform to launch the new brand.
Having worked with Good Practice previously, we were delighted to work on the launch of Emerald Works, a new global company which has been formed from three established international learning organisations coming together – Good Practice being one of them.
We were excited to work with them again as part of the merge and re-brand for Learning Technologies Show 2020 – Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and technology.
“Our biggest and best stand yet this year at Learning Technologies Show, thanks to Graphic Mill.
This is our 4th year working with the Graphic Mill team and we gave them our most challenging brief yet. And once again, they delivered it, with great passion.
What I really love about working with Graphic Mill is their can-do attitude. Whatever I throw at them, whatever crazy ideas I have, they never say no.
We’ve always worked together to find a solution to make these ideas happen. They are so experienced in what they do, I have complete trust that they will always deliver something fantastic!”
Sai Cook, Emerald Works
This year, they wanted to go even bigger and bolder – the stand was designed to create a real impact and clearly represent the new global company.
Emerald Works’ new branding is fresh, clean and modern, with a bright colour palette and the use of distinct shapes throughout, including hexagons and circular splashes. Every aspect of the stand we were creating for them needed to clearly reflect this.
We needed to think carefully about the layout; there had to be two meeting areas, complete with coffee-making facilities, to be able to chat to visitors at the stand. As well as these spaces, we needed to create clearly-defined podcast zones and an AV wall, plus storage and a reception counter.
There were many elements involved in the Emerald Works 100 square-metre stand, including a gigantic AV wall that visitors could interact with. We worked closely with Smart AV in order to produce this and were really happy with the final result.
The key for this project was quality woodworking – something we pride ourselves on here at Graphic Mill. Our team got to work on the large-format graphics, bespoke interactive spinner, and podcast area in order to produce the exciting stand experience that was required.
We also arranged site services, including electrics – one less thing for our client to worry about!
The final result was really striking. The floor was a mix of carpet (in their distinct new brand colours) and grey vinyl with printed vinyl floor shapes in the key areas, as well as hanging acrylic shapes in the new style.
The podcast area meant visitors could sit and listen to Emerald Works’ output, and the huge AV wall allowed them to interact with the unique games. The an eye-catching (and loud!) spinner offered the chance to win various prizes.
The stand featured 2 large fabric suspended banners, visible from all across the hall. Combined with the high-level illuminated logo and the faux foliage in planters throughout, the stand was one Emerald Works could really be proud of launching their new global business with.
The Learning Technologies Show is a really inspiring, innovative place for both exhibitors and attendees, and we look forward to working on stands here in the future.
