How long does it take to create an exhibition display stand?

When planning an exhibition stand project, a reasonable timeframe from conception to final installation is ideal. During the first 3 weeks, the focus is on generating and refining ideas, designing the layout, and optimising the investment.

The following 2 weeks are dedicated to creating the final graphic designs, preparing technical sketches, and preparing everything for production. The last 3 weeks are reserved for the physical production involving printing the graphics, building custom displays, and performing the pre-build. This is our opportunity to quality-check the whole product and send the client images before it goes out to the show.

We always strive to complete projects at least 2 weeks before the first installation, allowing time for any final modifications. However, if time is a constraint, we can work with a tighter timeline to complete things on schedule.

What is a shell scheme exhibition stand?

The most common type of exhibition stand, a shell scheme stand, is an exhibition space that is contained within an aluminium frame. Shell scheme stands come in a variety of dimensions but are usually smaller than space-only stands, which are designated floor spaces from which you can build.
As part of your shell scheme exhibition stand package, you are often provided with a wall structure, basic flooring and lighting. Extras may include an electrical supply and high-speed internet access.

How do I send you artwork?

At Graphic Mill, we use the file-sharing platform WeTransfer.com. WeTransfer is simple to use, free, and secure. You also do not need to create an account to send up 2GB of artwork.

How do we get started?

Do you outsource your stand production?

We are fully transparent and carry out our work with the utmost care and attention to detail. We also manage the entire project from start to finish, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to plan.

Our purpose-built large format print shop is equipped with state-of-the-art technology allowing us to produce graphics up to 3.2m wide. This means you can have stunning, high-quality graphics that are sure to make an impact at your event. Need larger or highly specialised graphics? We have a network of trusted 3rd party suppliers to call upon.
Our wood workshop, ‘The Barn’, is where the magic happens when it comes to event furniture, producing even the most complex pieces of furniture. This ensures everything is custom-made to your specifications.

Our team of installers has years of experience and handles event and exhibition instals of any size and complexity.

Can we install the project ourselves?

Our exhibition solutions are highly flexible and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. In most cases, you can easily build your project yourself with our self-build option. However, for more complex builds or larger trade show stands, we recommend having our experienced technicians on hand to ensure proper installation.
We understand that you may have a capable team that can install the solution themselves, which is why we are happy to discuss your team’s capabilities to create a customised self-installation option that meets your needs.

Delivery and Storage

Do you deliver to London?

Yes, we deliver to London. We’re fortunate to be located near Bristol, which means we can reach London and Birmingham in just a few hours. We also install our products in Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Germany, France, Paris and Belgium. We’re always excited to serve customers from different parts of the UK and Europe, and our location helps us do just that.

Can you store our exhibition stand?

Yes. We have on-site secure storage available for our exhibition and event clients. All exhibition stand assets are stored on-site at Graphic Mill HQ for a monthly fee. This means that you don’t have to worry about storing anything yourself and be safe knowing that everything will be kept safe and secure until your next event.

What payment methods do you accept?

At Graphic Mill, a credit card or bank transfer is preferable.
