Lunch! is amongst the top London shows for new and established companies within the food and beverage industry. It’s a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to source delicious new food and drink, the latest industry tech, and sustainable packaging. It also happens to be Graphic Mill’s busiest show in our calendar, with nearly 20 Lunch exhibition stands to be designed, built and installed for the two day show.
Needless to say, every year sees the culmination of an enormous team effort, ensuring all of our clients are given the exhibition stand and on-site support needed to allow them to simply focus on promoting their incredible products!
From shell schemes to space only stands, here’s a deeper dive into just a few of our favourite Lunch exhibition stands from the 2023 show.
Califia produce some incredible plant based milk alternatives and coffee creamers. With Lunch being held at the end of September, it was perfect timing for them to show off their new Autumnal offering – pumpkin spiced oat milk.
We built Califia a stand which allowed them to make barista quality coffee and hand out samples. They had a large bar with seating to encourage customers to spend time on their stand, whilst a light box menu displayed the product options.
A great detail on this stand was the acrylic bottle wall graphic with illuminated edging. We loved how this feature created some visual excitement to a part of the stand which might otherwise have been overlooked.
Rhythm 108 make some of the best tasting chocolate you’ll come across. Seriously, try it!
We installed their Swiss chalet stand across several shows over the last couple of years, but this time around it was due a refresh. It’s amazing how a lick of paint can transform a stand. It’s a great example of how once you’ve invested in the initial build of an exhibition stand, it can only take a small refurbishment fee to give it a new lease of life!
It’s always an absolute pleasure working with Rheal. They produce superfood products for a healthier, happier life!
Their island space at Lunch required a stand which made an impact as bold as their product. To achieve this, we built a 4 metre tower to provide a focal point and handy store room. A quirky counter featured an acrylic front containing a bank of their bars, whilst striking ceiling box and oversized 3D product replicas made sure their brand was seen from all corners of Excel. In fact we saw many people use this ceiling box as a reference point for finding friends and clients. You can’t ask for a better marketing tool than that!
One thing we’ve always enjoyed at Graphic Mill is having the opportunity to work alongside some inspiring up-and-coming brands – being able to support small businesses at the start of their journey in the world of exhibiting is incredibly rewarding.
The following 3 brands in Juno Bamboo, Free’ist and Jamu Wild Water all required a straightforward and punchy shell scheme stand which stood out from the high concentration of stands around them. For all 3 brands, their visibility was increased thanks to the print quality of our seamless fabric wall graphics. Taking their existing digital assets, our design team were able to work alongside the clients to create wall graphics that accurately represented their brand identity, whilst careful use of composition and colour ensured passers by couldn’t help but stop and stare! Whilst features such as counters and shelving were hired from us to keep costs down, their fabric graphics were purchased, allowing them to be reused across multiple show and activations.
La Vie produce some truly delicious plant-based bacon. If you haven’t already come across them, check them out!
Exhibiting at Casual Dining, the sister show to Lunch, their super strong branding lends itself to a stand which is as fun as it is functional. Their street-food style hut contains a cooking station and wash basin, allowing them to hand out samples of their product, freshly cooked, and still warm. A logo light box fixed over their stand and festoon lighting added to the aesthetic, whilst the ‘hero-element’ of the stand came in the form of their huge ceiling box which could be seen from all corners of the hall.
Unrooted’s super shots contain a multitude of health benefits, and packing a punch, is a great way to start your day!
The stand we’ve created for them included a funky crate wall to display their products, large wooden baobab tree sculpture (its fruit being a key ingredient in their shots), and bespoke kart which gave them a fun sampling station.
It’s been heart-warming to hear all of the positive feedback off the back of our 2023 Lunch exhibition stands. Many of the stands featured in this post are already being geared up to be installed at future shows, and we can’t wait to see what Lunch 2024 has in store for us!
